Win a Cavatina and Music Book for Your School

To help get your outside space music ready for the new school year, we are offering ISC Schools the chance to win a Rainbow Cavatina and Music Book worth over $6000 for outdoor musical exploration and education.

With weather-proof and durable rainbow-colored notes, the Rainbow Cavatina is the perfect way to raise the profile of music within a school and embed it into everyday school life.

Set over black resonators, the vibrantly colored anodized notes are set to our rainbow scale, and when combined with our Music Book - where the notes on the instruments correspond with the colored notes on the music sheets - players can simply follow the colors to play a well-known song. However, the diatonic tuning ensures its versatility, and the Rainbow Cavatina will provide a vast range of expression suited to beginners and experienced musicians alike.

The winning school will receive their Rainbow Cavatina and a 4-page Music Book in time for the new school year. Simple to install and easy to play, students will soon be able to express themselves through music away from the constraints of classroom walls.

Outdoor learning should be a regular, progressive curriculum-led experience for all learners; however, outdoor musical instruments like the Rainbow Cavatina also fulfill the need for students to experience free musical play opportunities. Outside there is space and height to experiment with scale and far more stimuli than indoors. There is room to move and use the whole body, and open spaces provide children with different sensory experiences, with music sounding and feeling different when explored outside.

The instrument is designed for ground or surface installation but can also be wall-mounted.

  • 1 entry per School
  • Winner can select the pages for their 4-page Music Book from the options available.
  • Prize includes shipping; however, installation of the Rainbow Cavatina and https://www.percussionplay.com/isc-offer-early-years/ is not included. Complete installation instructions will be provided.
  • The competition closes on July 31, 2022. The winning School will be informed by email within seven days of the closing date. They must respond within 28 days to claim the prize for their School. A replacement winner may be drawn if no response is received and after reasonable attempts.
  • Prize is subject to our current lead times.
