Inspired by the traditional Ugandan xylophone and the largest member of Uganda's percussion family, the Akadinda is a remarkable outdoor musical instrument designed to bring people together through music. Accommodating up to four players at once, it encourages collaborative play, creativity, and social interaction in parks, schools, playgrounds, and public spaces.

Its hardwood notes produce rich, mellow tones with impressive volume and resonance, making it perfect for spontaneous performances and musical exploration. Traditionally supported by banana stems, our Akadinda features a robust, treated-timber frame designed for long-lasting outdoor use and suitable for either in-ground or surface-mounted installation.
