My Tunes transforms a favorite melody into a unique outdoor musical instrument. Each installation is custom-tuned to play a specific tune, allowing users to perform a familiar melody simply by striking the notes in sequence from beginning to end.
Suspended between durable stainless-steel posts, the anodized aluminum notes are arranged in the exact order required to play the chosen tune. The result is an engaging and intuitive musical experience that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities, regardless of musical background. Players simply follow the notes and discover the satisfaction of performing a recognizable melody.

One notable example of the My Tunes concept can be found at Shakespeare's Globe in London, where visitors can play Greensleeves by striking notes in sequence. While a traditional My Tunes instrument could have been created for the project, the unique curved wall location meant the melody was realized using individually mounted Freechimes. The installation demonstrates how familiar tunes can be transformed into engaging musical experiences that connect visitors with a place, story, or theme.
